On 25 October 2023, a meeting took place between the First Deputy Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament, Mr. Oleksandr Korniyenko, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Angola, Mr. Tete António.

The following topics were discussed:

• Security situation in Ukraine;
• Opportunities for co-operation, including economic co-operation;
• Food security, Russia's obstruction of Ukraine's grain exports;
• President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's peace formula. 

Mr. Oleksandr Korniyenko: "Every decision and action in support of our country is a contribution to the victory that will ensure global security and stability. We are sincerely grateful for the steps already taken. We look forward to deepening our co-operation"
